Default Nurse moving from the UK with 16 year olds

Hi, I’m a mental health nurse working in the UK with nearly 8 years experience.
I am looking to move to around the Ennis, Shannon or Limerick area.
I know a UK nurse now goes through the international nurse register but just wondering if anyone knows how long on average it takes please?
I’m not looking till moving in the Summer of 26 when my boys finish GCSEs, they plan to enter military at 16 but if they are recommended to wait till 18 they will move and we will look at colleges doing a leaving cert so they can continue education.
would probably Rent for 1st year until established as well as getting a mortgage as a new resident is going to be harder until I’m settled.
any advice tips or guidance of how long you took to plan this move would be amazing thanks
