Strange I come from a town about 5 miles from Lawrence lived - must be something in the water!
I was just trying to clear up what things we were talking about, that's all.
Can't see the point of bringing TV's etc as they probably wouldn't work over here would they?
Furniture and clothes I'd probably get a mover to put them in a container with other peoples stuff and send it by sea.
As for pets, I have a mate who had/has a business transporting pets from the UK abroad - don't know if he could do it the other way around - depends on the kind of pet? Don't forget it would probably need to be quarantined for 6 months and you will have to pay the bills for that.
