Default Which good comedy club in Dublin?

Good friends are doing a world trip and visiting Dublin. They are staying at the Grand Canal Hotel and arrive around the 2nd week of October and they would like to see some good Irish comedy one of the nights.
I've looked on the web and there are so many places. I used to go to the Ha'penny Bridge Inn years ago (at least I think that's where it was). Paul Malone was on regularly. Is that place still good? What good comediens are doing the circuit?
The last comedy I saw in Ireland was D'unbelievables in Athlone. It was called 'The Wedding' I think.
It would be so great if anyone could recommend some names/places to look out for. Do Ardal O'Hanlon/Dara O'Brien go over much?
Hopefully there are a few comedy buffs out there.
