Well...

Dublin being quite compact means loads of strolling from pub to pub on the cards. Temple Bar is the major tourist area. It can be a bit more expensive to drink but the atmosphere is good. The Turks Head is a cracking bar on the edge of TB. Porterhouse is across the road is also a good bar. I tend to booze up Grafton St. Davy Byrnes is a fav. Love the oysters in there with Guinness. The Old Stand, Exchequer St and Wicklow St off Grafton is a great little pub. Food wise, not much on cheap eats front. Elephant and Castle in Temple Bar is pretty good but usually big queues to get in.

Dublin is really friendly and full of laughs when you're out and about, you'll love it.

P.S. If you need a cab give us a shout
