Would like to find a cook for a rented villa near Siena

Six of us have booked a villa just outside of Siena and would like to
hire a cook to prepare several "typical" Tuscan meals for us a couple
of evenings during our stay at our villa. We thought we might enjoy a
"home cooked" meal or two as a break from eating out but are not good
cooks ourselves.
Would appreciate any recommendations, comments, or counsel.

Have you tried getting the villa rental agency to do this for you? Our
travel agent has managed to do this for us in the past, although it does
seem to take a bit of arm twisting! We enjoyed two weeks in Tuscany in
2000, and two weeks in Umbria in 2002 with just such arrangements.
We shopped for fixings for our breakfasts, usually were out on a day trip
for lunch, and came back to a great meal every evening. Those who stayed at
the villa during the day, usually had excellent evening meal leftovers for
lunch.
Good luck.

I do private cooking here in the Chianti so if you would like you could
e-mail me at [email protected] or [email protected] and we can
discuss logistics.

Have asked our agent for help but none has been forthcoming. I've
responded to Cristina's message and look forward to her response.
Joe, what advice can you share based on your experience?

I think there's quite a few places in the Siena area where you can
take an italian cuisine workshop.
Anyone more details????
