Le Monde publishes on the weekend a magazine, today`s
issue is on global warming.
They have a large world map of where the warming and
colling is occurring.
Cooling--
In the ocean, some areas in the Pacific, and the Southern
oceans.
Landwise-Australia has several regions in the west.
The west coast of South Africa
Northern India
Washington state area
Coastal Peru
***
Warming
Mostly all of Europe on into Russia to Siberia
West Coast of Africa
South Africa region-Rhodesia etc
But virtually none of the rest of interior
Africa?
In the US,
Arizona-New Mexico and Northern Mexico
The East of the Mississippi but not
Florida and nearby areas just to the North.
The Mid-west is not warming
In South America is it mostly Brazil near
the Atlantic
Central America and the Caribbean are not affected.
Most of the warming appears in the Northern Hemisphere.
The areas heating far exceed the regions cooling in size.

Is this "map" available on the net anywhere?
Gerrit - Western Australia where we are desperate for rain!

Say, is that the Washington State in the US? Because I live there and it's
feeling kind of warm to me. (Admittedly an unscientific observation.) But
we're having another early spring: daffodils in bloom, fruit trees starting.
My geraniums bloomed all winter sheltered on the porch. And it got hotter
than usual again last summer. Well, maybe it's some other part of the state,
not Seattle.
