Not Fish. Folks, that show was near perfect. If you don't get it, you
should kill yourself. I don't usually encourage that but in this case,
yea, leave this Earth. It will be better for us all.

BTW, here's a ref. Saddness for this lose all around:

James Gregory, the solid character actor known for tough-guy cop roles
including Inspector Frank Luger, Hal Linden's superior on television's
Barney Miller, has died.

Gregory, 90, died Monday in Sedona, Ariz.

Slender with a craggy face, dark wavy hair and commanding sneer, Gregory
performed in some two dozen Broadway plays, 50 motion pictures and
countless TV programs. In his early 70s, he was still playing
50-something characters.

He made his Broadway debut as a deputy sheriff in Key Largo in 1939 and
played an Air Force general in the pilot episode in television's
groundbreaking The Twilight Zone in 1959. A real-life Navy sailor and
Marine during World War II, he played John F. Kennedy's commanding
officer in the 1962 movie PT-109, was Dean Martin's superior officer in
his Matt Helm detective movies and played an ape general in the 1970
movie Beneath the Planet of the Apes.

Gregory landed his long-running Barney Miller role because of his work
as real-life detective Barney Ruditsky in the 1959-62 TV series The
Lawless Years. A precursor to The Untouchables, that series depicted
Ruditsky's dealings with New York gangsters in the decades of the 1920s
and '30s, with the actual Ruditsky as technical advisor. The series
prompted the Bronx-born Gregory to relocate to Los Angeles.

A decade and a half later, Danny Arnold, producer and cocreator of
Barney Miller, chose Gregory for Inspector Luger.

''He thought,'' the actor said in 1979, ``I had some of the
characteristics of Barney Ruditsky, a famous New York rackets cop during
Prohibition. Danny was a friend of the real Ruditsky. He borrowed
Barney's first name for Barney Miller.''

During that series, which ran from 1975 to 1982, Gregory also headed a
short-lived related series called Detective School. Starring as Nick
Hannigan, he ran a night school for sleuths, trying to teach housewives,
door-to-door salesmen and shoe-store clerks how to become private eyes.

After establishing himself on Broadway in the 1930s and '40s, Gregory
made his motion picture debut in the cop crime drama Naked City in 1948.
He was on television by 1950, working in the new medium from New York
when shows were telecast live. Although his stage work later lessened,
Gregory always moved easily among the venues.

''The fact that I'm able to work in all mediums is a good thing,'' he
told the Los Angeles Times in 1959. ``I consider it fortunate to be able
to bounce back and forth.''

Adept at westerns, he was a regular on three series in the late 1960s,
playing President Grant in The Wild, Wild West, the gruff Major Duncan
in F Troop and in a recurring role on Barbara Stanwyck's The Big Valley.

Among his films, Gregory earned particular notice for his performance as
Sen. John Yerkes Iselin in the 1962 political thriller The Manchurian
Candidate, starring Frank Sinatra and Laurence Harvey.

Gregory is survived by his wife of 58 years, the former Ann Miltner.

Hmmm, that's a thought. But I always heard it was so that you could
tell them apart from the men.

(not one for political correctness)

In spite of my joking in posts about ugliness, ugliness really is
something that one cannot help, most of the time. Whatever Pulaski
personally looks like is not of his making or choice. Thus to punish
him/her for it is cruelty of the worst sort. Most people cannot afford
surgical reconstruction for the hand that genetics has dealt them.

Where I find it really hard to overcome my desires is to find ugly
women sexually attractive. Or smelly or hairy ones. But for friends or
workers or anything else, appearance makes little difference.

May be because they do not show their wealth of beauty and body.

You have a touch of unjustified prejudice, to say so.

Since it was a stupid question. Therefore, strangely enough, replies are
too many

And who raised "the ugly Muslim men" ?
IN MANY MUSLIM COUNTRIES (PARTICULARLY SAUDI ARABIA) BOYS ARE RAISED BY THE MEN OF THE HOUSEHOLD UPON REACHING THEIR SEVENTH BIRTHDAY. IN WEALTHIER HOUSEHOLDS, THEY ARE REMOVED FROM THE WOMEN'S QUARTERS AND PLACED IN THE BACHELOR MEN'S QUARTERS. THEIR MOTHERS HAVE NO MORE TO SAY IN THEIR UPBRINGING. SO, TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION: MEN RAISE "THE UGLY MUSLIM MEN'.
