What are your favorite places to stay in Vienna?
Just checking with you all for your personal best rec's for nice inns or
pensions in the beautiful Wien.
Nothing political this time, sorry.

Only place I've stayed is the Hotel de France on Schottenring. The tour
I took, my first trip to Europe, stayed there. I liked it and it seemed
well located, so rather than hunt for another, I stayed there again when
I went to Vienna on my own. (I still like it, although everything is
more expensive, now that the dollar is worth so much less than it was
the last time I was there, so I may be looking for another, if I can
manage another trip there next Christmas.)

We stayed at the Fuerstenhof near the Westbahnhof and Zur Agnes in Sievering
the first time. Both were wonderful and a decent price also.
