It doesn't matter what you eat. The only thing that matters is how
much.

In terms of weight gain, only calories count. It doesn't matter where
they come from.

Yes, that's what I meant. So where you eat doesn't matter.

Usually. My wife says that cooking is a woman's activity if unpaid. If paid
the men butt in and take charge.

No. Sipping wine and screaming "Don't let that goddamn kid burn the
water again".

Provided you get enough vitamins and minerals.
Which a Big Mac is an excellent source of both - especially now they seem to
put even more lettuce in, and take it with a milk shake and you are laughing
all the way to the fit-club.

In a way it can. if the menu is limited and all meals are high
calorie.
McDs have reacted to this by offering salads, it's a pity that they
didn't go for a low calorie dressing, but at least it's a step in the
right direction. Ordering McD.s without mayonnaise and ketchup and
chips is another way to get a lower calorie meal from McDs. I've done
it for some time. The burger is tastier and cooked to order too.
Why do we use McDs? Because it's the only place in the town, where I
keep my boat, where we can get a quick snack.

A big Mac meal with a diet drink is less than 1,000 calories, a fairly
healthy level for a main meal.

Just avoid the sugary drinks and the supersize temptations.

You probably mean the "Body Mass Index" (BMI). Mine fluctuates from
about 24.6 (normal) to 25.1 (overweight). I think I'm fat, but not very.

English: <http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmicalc.htm>
Metric: <http://nhlbisupport.com/bmi/bmi-m.htm>

BMI Categories:
* Normal = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obese = 30+
