Thanks, the issue of Google earth is not only for the trip, its also
for the 'fun' and the experience of playing with several online tools.

I plan to be in Romania as well, and that's 'root visiting' my family
is originally from there, Istanbul is only as the connect flight is
there, so its either kill ~9 hours in airport (flying Israel to Hong
Kong) or extend and visit to the city.

I want to use Google earth to mark the places we will visit, link to
photos on flickr, use GPS as well, and my youngest daughter will use it
all on her blog for school project, in any way it will be fun.

It isn't yet working 100%, but try it this afternoon/evening European time
(or any afternoon/evening) with, for example, BA283 or KL601. Go to
http://www.fboweb.com/fb40/s/tr/qt.aspx and follow it from there. You
should see a "Google Earth" tracking facility.

Thanks. Before I asked I googled for it, I found lots about it. but
not where to download it from.
