Any comments about the tours in Spain offered by Viator? I'm planning
to join their "Five Day Seville and Granada" which costs about $941 for
single. Shown below is the itinerary.
Day 1: Madrid - Cordoba - Seville (L, D)
Day 2: Seville (B, D)
Day 3: Ronda - Costa del Sol - Malaga (B, L, D)
Day 4: Granada - Alhambra - Generalife Gardens (B, D)
Day 5: Granada - Toledo - Madrid (B, L)
Any idea about the size of the group? Is Viator organiziing this tour
or a sales agent for other tour company? Thanks.

Following up to jj
I know nothing about tours but I would want at least a day in
Cordoba. It all looks very rushed to me.

If it was me I would want to do either Andalucia or Castile.
Cordoba I would want to wander round the back streets and then
contemplate the Mesquita away from other people, then have a nice
dinner in a restaurant. 1 or 2 days
Granada 2 nights to get a good look at the Alhambra.
But i'm not a tour person.

I agree! I've never been to Spain, but I can't imagine
spending less than a day in any city worth visiting at all!
The only tour I've ever been on (other than "day tours" to
acquaint visitors with a city) was a ten day "opera" tour of
"Eastern" Europe - we visited Prague, Vienna and Budapest,
spending three or four days in each. There was still too
much to see , IMO - they kept us busy every minute of our
time, and we barely scratched the surface. (Although we
heard some fine opera and classical music, which was the
main purpose of the tour.)

It sounds awful. Sitting on a bus for many hours. Not even taking the smooth
fast train to Cordoba and Seville. And if I was even remotely contemplating
this horrid trip I would want to check out the accomodation being provided.
Some Spanish hotels are not very good, and the walls can be very thin not to
speak of the towels provided.

Granada, Toledo and Madrid in one day? You can spend days in Toledo
alone, ditto Ronda, plus exploring Andalucia hilltowns is part of the
charm of the area, and that is completely not included here. Granada
to Madrid is practically an all day drive...similarly so is Madrid to
Seville...for an average of $200 per day...waaay too much time in a
bus....

It is, I've done it in a car, which is OK as you can stop off at
interesting, or better still ordinary, places. On a bus? No
thanks.

Yes, that's what I don't want, you don't get to see a place by
rushing about ticking off the sights, its better to sit in a bar
and people watch. I have a long list of ABCs I never bothered to
go in.

that's the obvious plan, I discussed this itinery with SWMBO last
night. Assuming Madrid arrival. Do Seville and Cordoba, quite
enough for five days. Although to come to Spain and not see the
Alhambra? No, bite the bullet and spend a day on a coach trip or
better hire a car and get there off peak, such as there is.
