IMHO, Londra Palace in Venice is just 'the best choice'. I can highly
recoment this accomodation.

I stayed at the Hotel Belvedere last September. I believe the rate was around
150 Euros for a double room. They have a very nice restaurant and the town
has some nice shops and restaurants. Go to www.bellagiolakecomo.com to get
more info. The hotel is listed there. We took the boat to Como (about 2 hours
each way) and visited Villa D'este for a drink. A very peaceful place to
visit. We did have a car as the hotel was on the top of the hill with a fabulous
view. It would be a bit of a walk down the hill. Have a nice time!
