What is too expensive? All in the eye of the beholder.
Try www.ibishotels.com , they have an available hotel for 7 days from
Tuesday at 84 euros per night.

There is one near Staromestké nàmesti (ask the tourism office). Maybe you

Can you share the website with us.

google for Hana Seflova. She has two apartments to let for days in her
apartment building. Five minutes from the streetcar, 10 from airport, 10-15
from Old Town. She's friendly and speaks English, and her apartments to let
were about USD 25 a night (including generous breakfast) when last I looked. Do
not, repeat not, call before 8 PM Prague time.
