Default Tuscany Villa Rental (Florence, Montecatine, Lucca Areas) Help

My wife and I along with some of our children and our grandchildren (total of 12-14
individuals) are thinking about renting a villa in the Lucca, Montecatina, Pistoia or
Florence surrounding areas. We need a minimus of 6 bedrooms, want a pool for the
kids, and would prefer a quite area with a view of the valleys and surrounding areas.

I have found the following villas that on the surface seem to fit the bill. I was
wondering if anyone has stayed in any of the below villas and would kindly comments
on the value/worth of each. Any other great villas I have missed would be greatly
appreciated. I prefer to go above about Euro 5,500/ per week.

Here are the villias I see (at least from photos as possibly acceptable)

Villa S. Mario (Prato)

Villa Fondorn (Lucca)

Casa Luciana (Lucca) http://www.italian-villas.com/casa_luciana.html

VILLA TORRIANI (Lucca)

Villa Bonvisi (Lucca)

Villa Orchidea (Bagnano)

Villa Montelandi http://www.tuscanhouse.com/montelandi/villa.htm

Casa Tara (Montespertoli) http://www.italian-villas.com/casa_tara.html

Apart for the above villas, if you know of another home that has the same apparent
features, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Roy B.

You may want to check out http://www.slowtrav.com It is a great group of people who
regularly stay in villas or apartments and may have better feedback for you. You can
do a search for the villas you mentioned as well as posting in the forums. A lot of
comments also about the different agencies that rent the villas which is helpful.

Default Italy vacation

Hi - noticed your plans to go to Italy with your grandchildren. I am the owner of ClassicVacationRental.com - which you may have seen on SlowTraveller - or found on google - you ask specifically about the house buonVisi near Lucca - i visited this house recently - a lovely house for a famil reunion - it is a grand manor on the the Bernadini estate - it has enough large bedrooms in various parts of the hosue to afford everyone their privacty - the upstairs has a great room for the children - a large bright room - that sleeps 4 - like an old fashioned nursery - the kitchen has a lovely fireplace - which on a cool day is wonderful - the garden is large and nice for children to run around in - or parents to sun in -
do give me a call - ou will find the phone numbers on the website at www.classicvacationrental.com - if you have any questions - or to look at other options - I look forward to hearing from you.
