Default Travel in Dublin

We are looking to find the best (read: cheap) way to get from the airport
to The Burlington. From what we can figure out, we should take the bus for
EUR 5 to the city and then get a cab. We will be carrying luggage, so
walking for a long distance is not feasible.

The Aircoach (big blue singledeck coaches) run every 15 mins. eur6 one-way,
eur10 return. It stops at the Burlington. The service is comfortable and
good. Don´t confuse them with the airlink buses which don´t go your way.

I believe you can get a day rover bus ticket from the airport that will
include the Airlink bus and any other Dublin busses that day. A family
ticket costs less than two adult tickets (I think) and (I believe) there is
no requirement to adopt some kids for the day. I may have a leaflet
somewhere if you can wait until Monday for more details.

Enjoy the Hot Breakfast Buffet at the Burlington it is one of the best Hotel
Breakfasts in the world (IME).

Which could start a very interesting thread about Hotel Breakfasts:
One of my favorites being the SAS hotel in Oslo - The excutive rooms get (or
got this was a few years ago) access to the top floor with a fantastic view
and a chef to make your breakfast to order.

There is a bus stop right outside the Burlington (sorry I don't know the bus
numbers).
