Can anyone tell me what kind of transport is available (Bus/train etc)
between Toulouse and La Mongie near the Pic-Du-Midi and if La Mongie is
close to the cable-car access to the Observarory. I would like to spend a
week in Toulouse in April with a visit to the peak inserted.
Any advice on how to get to the peak from Toulouse appreciated.

Just quickly looking on www, I see that if you take a train from Toulouse to
Tarbes there is a bus service that runs to La Mongie via BAGNERES DE
BIGORRE. Local rail page on SNCF is-
