Default Train tickets in Hungary.

Hello, I' ve got a question about ticket prices in Hungary. In some
countries there are special weekend offers, for example in Germany
it's 'Schones Wochenende Ticket' or 'Sone+' in Czech Republic. These
are very cheap and tourist-friendly sollutions. Does something like
this exist at Hungarian railway? If so, how much does such a ticket
cost?

I'm afraid there's not much of that except for a ticket for the railways
around the lake Balaton.
Interrail onecountry is a possibility if you're travelling much.
Anyway it's inexpensive, compared with countries in western Europe to go by
rail in Hungary and distances aren't very long. People aged 65 travels free
(!!) when they're bearer of an EU passport.
