It's not clear, that's for sure. Usually, it would count a day,
but not necessarily. But the way the flexipasses work, like the
Scanrailpass, YOU enter the date of travel, and should your pass
be checked you are in trouble if you haven't. But no one on the
Silja ferry is going to check your pass, so any checking would

it only covers the basic fare and you MUST book a cabin, whihc is
not cheap.
