"Road pricing sooner than planned
8 February 2007
AMSTERDAM - Road pricing to reduce rush hour traffic will be introduced in the
course of the coming government term. Plans for this measure are included in the
coalition agreement presented on Wednesday.
Until now plans for road pricing were not scheduled to take effect until 2012.
The coalition accord also states that there will be trials with free public
transport for specific target groups in city and regional transport."
