Has any one stayed at Residenza dei Pucci, Florence, Italy? It is recommended in Rick
Steve's guide book. We'll be there end of December. Any help is much appreciated.

I read your question (that unfortunately no one seemed able to answer before you went on your trip in December) and wondered if you would help us out with your reaction to the Residenza dei Pucci. Thinking of staying there in Oct; read about it in Rick Steves' Italy book but can't seem to find any info elsewhere. Were the rooms as attractive as they look on the web? It just seems too good to be true for the price. many thanks.
