Residenza Cellini in Rome -- What's the Area Like?

My wife and I plan to plan 3 days at the Residenza Cellini in late
March. It's near the Republica Metro stop, only one stop from the
main Termini station. Is this a safe area? I've been reading the
thread about problems around the Termini station and would like to
avoid them if possible.
If you stayed there, how did you like the hotel? Would you stay there
again?
Thanks.

Do you have an address for the hotel? On the face of it, I would say
that the area around Repubblica is perfectly OK, subject to the usual
tourist provisos, like advising people not to leave handbags ("purses"
to Americans, I think)on the ground while eating/drinking at outdoor
cafes.
