Default Question..I Need to get from Cruise Ship Dock in Copenhagen to The City Center

HI, I would like to avoid taking a taxi (cost) and find a bus or train
to the city center. I'm assuming that Tivoli Gardens and the City
Hall are the city center.
thanks for any help. Julie

As I don't live there I rather know the touristy possibilities...

There is a sightseeing bus running nearby all tourist attractions which allows
you to hop on and hop off as often as you want. It also has a stop at the
"Langelinie" which is the quay of the cruising ships and it stops next to the
Tivoli, too. You can buy a day ticket on the bus iirc.

Greetings,

Is that the number 29 bus here?

http://www.ht.dk/files/Detstoretrafikkort201002.pdf

Also is there a place in the Copenhagen Hovedbanegarden(sp)
(central station) where you can check or store luggage safely?

Thanks a lot,

bob

Hi Bob,

I don't think so. IIRC it was kind of a private company... Btw those
hop-on-hop-off buses also provide some explanation of the main attractions,
either by headphones or there's a guide on board. And no, I don't get any money
from them for talking about it... :-)
I just began to like those buses in Dublin years before cause they connect the
places where I want to go whereas most of the "normal" buses are going kind of
star-like from the middle to the outskirts and it takes me sometimes a lot of
time to find out which bus takes which route.

Just from my memory - last summer I walked thru the main hall and I think I
remember the typical signs for it...
