Maxi is happy, it is raining and a bit cool in the north of France. Our
fellow visitors to the Centre de Detention at Caen today complained
about it being cold and rainy, early autumn. It was summer two days ago.

why don't you just block him & move on if you are not interested in
anything he posts? I'm not particularly interested in the weather in
Paris so I ignore & move on.... You CAN do it! I know you can!

Not cool enough, and I don't care much for rain, although frequent rain
is a necessity.

Any predictions for Brussels, the last two weeks in June? I
was there the end of June once before, and IIRC it was
fairly warm, but the forecasts for the next week that I see
on the internet are not encouraging!
I try to pack as little as possible, so don't want to take
warmer clothes if I won't need them, but..... (I remember,
when I first moved to Los Angeles from Minnesota, I naively
assumed that "California" meant "warm and sunny", packed
summer clothes for a June week in San Francisco, and damned
near froze!)

Yes. Strangely enough I have great faith in your ability to do so.
I, on the other hand, have a new newsreader & I can't get the damn
blocking filters to work. So, I just simply ignore subjects I don't want
to read.... It's tough but I'm dealing with it...
So, now, go on, Give it a try!

Easier to simply block the odious "Runge" who has resided in
my kill-file ever since it first took exception to a few
innocuous posts (my own and those of others)! Judging from
the posts I see when others reply to him/her/it, I've
certainly not missed anything worth reading by doing so.

In the end he will become just like those he dislikes....
With my new newsreader I can't block anyone.... So I just have to ignore
those posts I don't want to read. It' actually quite easy!

Not Grunge, he is a stalker. He does not "move on" but attacks. Nor is it
any use to tell him what to do.
The Paris weather is apparently at a low point for the week, a high of 19,
grey skies and rainy, today and will return the mid 20s by the end of
the week.

No. I have seen cool to cold Junes in these parts.

I will not repeat Mark Twain! But always bring one sweater and
a slight water proof jacket. Even when going to Florida we take
a sweater, especially for the hot weather and over cooled
restaurants. Here is different, the outside is air conditioned.
