Paris Metro / Zone
Hi Folks,
Would anyone know the zone number for the Station porte d'orleans. This is the last Stop on Line 4. I have looked in the RER / Metro websites. Could not get the info from there. Thanks Abhijit |
Re: Paris Metro / Zone
You're right their maps aren't quite clear. It looks to be right at the
border of 1-2 but I suspect that it's in zone 2 by their map. Abhijit wrote: > Hi Folks, > Would anyone know the zone number for the Station porte d'orleans. > This is the last Stop on Line 4. I have looked in the RER / Metro > websites. Could not get the info from there. > Thanks > Abhijit |

The nearest RER stations are in zone 2, as you can see on http://www.citefutee.com/orienter/cv/carteparis.php J; -- Encrypted e-mail address. Click to mail me: http://cerbermail.com/?nKYh3qN4YG |

Re: Paris Metro / Zone
No, it isn't. If you leave the city itself for Zones 2 and 3, it costs
more. Re: Paris Metro / Zone
It is in Zone 1. Clearly shown on the printed maps. All the "portes"
(which were the old city gates) are within the bounds of the city and not part of the banlieu, the suburbs. Perhaps some posters are confusing Metro and RER. The visitparis site doesn't show any Metro fares other than EUR-1.40, although I admit that's not clear to someone not familiar with the Metro and RER. ************* DAVE HATUNEN ([email protected]) ************* * Tucson Arizona, out where the cacti grow * * My typos & mispellings are intentional copyright traps * |
