Our European Theme Park Trip
Hello everyone!
My wife and I have just gotten back to the US after a three week trip around
European theme parks. The trip was amazing and we covered over 7,000km
traveling to France, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany,
and Italy!
We have posted trip reports and photos from each day here:
http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum...ic.php?t=17136
I hope you guys find the log of our travels as interesting as we did!
Enjoy the reports!

Nope, not in the slightest.....
You come to Europe - which has more culture than in a blade of grass than
you have in the whole continent (Belgium Excepted), and you spend your time
touring round theme parks.....
Who are you - Michael Jackson .... ?

It's refreshing to see Europe toured from another perspective, and its
nice to see new information on things to see and do that aren't
normally discussed in this forum or in guide books. After all, Europe
is more than just historical sights. I'm glad that you had a good
trip.

Well, some people do travel for reasons that may seem very strange to
others. I've met people who flew to Europe to do plane-spotting. Others
flew to Europe and travelled round visiting every venue on a concert
tour of their favourite performer.

Relax. It obviously makes you feel superior to take pot-shots from the
comfortable anonymity of your keyboard, but this fellow has a right to his
interests. You, on the other hand, have the right to be a smug asshole, one
which you seemingly relish.
Oh, and wherein lies your definition of culture? Is North America not made
of many cultures?

Quite. And for all we know the guy is in the theme-park business, or
maybe he spent six weeks touring art galleries /last/ year and wanted a
change...lots of reasons people travel!
I heard the other day about a guy whose retirement was devoted to
visiting every JD Wetherspoons pub in Britain. (There are 640+.)

the term 'sad bastard' springs to mind, still if floats your boat (or
sinks your liver)

Re: Our European Theme Park Trip
well, um....our site and business is called "Theme Park Review."
We did lots of other interesting cultural things too, and when we start
"European Culture Review" we'll be sure to post that also. ;)
We travel to Europe, in fact all over the world, quite often, in fact, we
have probably seen everything from all the wonders of the world to living in
Europe for extended business stays (6 months to a year) and mingled with the
locals.
This report, however, is a very different perspective, and focuses on theme
parks, which makes up a very high percentage of European tourism.
It's not just an "American" perspective as most of the people we were with
every day were Europeans.
I hope that clears up our travels and our site just a little bit.
