I don't know about that route, but I got some great rates on Travelocity
by adjusting my schedule a few days. They let you chose from certain days
that have specials. If I plugged those same days into Expedia, I got the
same rates - but I would have had to figure the right days and carrier by
trial and error.

I actually was able to cut the price by about half.

More often than not I find Expedia on the pricey side. Try Orbitz and
Travelocity, and if you're not picky about times/connections you could
always go with Hotwire or Priceline.
