Default Norway Fjords - is this a good tour?

http://www.fjordtravel.no/tours/fjor...orwegian_fjord
s.html

This is a 9 day tour. Anyone here do it? I have learned of the nutshell
tour, but my wife and I plan on being there for 7-9 days and so far this is
the only option that seems thorough enough. I was going to plan something
myself, but we don't have the time to plan!

thanks,

brian

The URL you posted will not open, for me, since it is wrapped. The s.html is on the
line below the major part of the URL. Please repost with it all on one line.

The tour appears reasonable. Personally I'd prefer some time to stop
occasionally but, perhaps, they do. In case they don't give you a good
look at a stave church visit the folk park in Oslo. It and the adjacent
ship museum make a nice day outing. A nice day has a city bus out to
the folk museum, a short walk over to the ship museum and a mild walk to
the dock for a ferry across to downtown.

Nice sounding certainly, but I'd want more free time in Bergen, as
Grieg's house and surrounds is easily a day trip in itself, also you
certainly would want to go up the funicular to Mount Floyen (sp) and
spend some time in the fish market.

If you do the Flam Railway trip, make sure you have plenty of film in
your camera and ask if the train stops for a photoshoot at the *big*
waterfall, how embarrassing, after 30 years I can't remember its name
but the sight will live forever in my mind!
