Normandy in July

Hi,
I am new to this group, and would like your input on vacationing in Normandy
in July.
We are a family with one small child, and picture Normandy as quieter than
the Riviera but with nice beaches, true?
Any recommendations as to cosy family friendly places to stay, or other tips
you would like to share?
Also, does anyone know about the possibilities for connecting to a train to
Normandy from the Charles de Gaulle airport?
Any input will be greatly appreciated

Quieter than the Riviera, yes. A bit less warm, too. More affordable.
Some nice beaches. Busy in July.

I'm not to good on the small child dimension. Trouville might appeal.
It's close to the better-known Deauville, but is more informal.
If beaches are your thing, Brittany also has much to offer.

It also has a wet, cold climate unless you go to southern Brittany.
