Nice
We are flying from Nice back to the US in October. The flight leaves very
early in the morning. Could anyone recommend an airport near or at the
airport in Nice so that we can turn our car in and get to the airport early
without getting up at midnight??? :-) Thanks!

There are several hotels adjacent to the airport. The one we use is a Campanile
(one of a chain). Close enough for me to turn my car in and stroll back to the
hotel. They run a shuttle over to the airport. I think the first shuttle leaves
at 6:30 in the morning.

The airport is only a short drive from the main part of Nice, around the
Promenade des Anglais, or the old town. So don't worry about which hotel
you choose. The Hertz and Avis offices are near there also, so you can
return your car with no problem, if you used them. Others are probably also
in the area.
