Hi! In august I will be travelling to Napoli, Italy. I'm looking for a
nice and cosy hotel somewhere downtown or along the coast. Does anyone
has a suggestion? Kind regards, Peter

Oh dear...
My suggestion is to plan BEFORE you book. Italy in August for tourists
is an absolute no no. It will be very hot, crowded, expensive, booked
out, and bloody awful.
As the Italians say, "In culo alla balena!"

Depends on where you're going. In my experience, if Naples itself is the
centre of interest for the OP, it would be an excellent time to go. True, it
will be hot, but the city itself is very quiet. You can even cross the road
by the archaeological museum! The seaside reorts like Sorrento will be
crowded, but not unpleasantly so.

"Hotel Crispi", Via Francesco Crispi. I've stayed there a few times, it
looks shady from the outside but it's perfectly acceptable.

just have a look at the following webpages
www.expedia.it
www.octopustravel.it
www.hotels.com
www.venere.it
normally they have good prices-
now hotel chains like Holiday Inn and Best Western have their own super
offers..
just check
holiday Inn in Naples is a very nice hotel
alittle far from the centre. but they provide free shuttle.
