Default more london hotel critiques plz

Hi again,
I did some more research and I have a few more hotels that I would
like traveller's critique's on:

Le Meridien Russell on Russell Square

Westbury Hotel on Bond Street

The Gallery Hotel on Queensberry Place

Thank you in advance!

I don't specifically know The Gallery, but I have stayed a couple of times
(when their rate has been better competitive) at The Gainsborough, which is
right near by and part of the same three-hotel Elegant English Hotels chain
(http://www.eeh.co.uk/). The Gainsborough, for what it's worth, has the
charm of not looking like a hotel from the outside. It is small and
friendly, with a polite and responsive front desk and a sunny breakfast
room. The two rooms I've stayed in have both been quite small, but clean and
properly maintained.

Very personally I also far prefer the neighborhood (South Kensington) to
Russell Square, around which I have also stayed a couple of times only to
save money (although not in Le Meridien, per se). I favor South Kensington
for easy tube access to/ from Heathrow and points within London, dining, and
walking around. In South Kensington you're also right next door to the V&A,
down the block from Harrods, and a comfortable walk--if you're a walker,
from Kensington Park, including performances at Royal Albert Hall, in case
any of these things are of interest!

Hmmm? We took the tube straight to Russell Square last time I was
there. (a few stops after South Kensington).

Russell square is vastly closer to the large majority of sites
that many tourists want, including the theaters and the British
Museum.

All very true. Honestly, if you're willing to take the tube, all
or London is basically within easy reach from both locations. If you
are a walker, both locations have their advantages based upon what
places you want to visit. I might even give a certain advantage towards
Kensignton Park in terms of a class of restaurants. But if you're
REALLY a walker, I mean prefer to walk and tend to avoid the tube,
Russell is a bit hard to beat. But yeah, if your focus is south
of Hyde Park, Kensington is gonna be hard to beat.
