Hello All,

My best friend and I are considering moving to Menorca permantly
sometime next year. Do you know of any useful websites where i can
search for accommodation. All i seem to find is just apartments for
holidays. Im also after any tips from anybody who has emigrated to
Menorca or to another Spanish island and how they went about it.

With respect, if you don't yet know Menorca well enough to even have/find
those contacts, why are you considering living there?

I would go out there off peak on a cheap flight and spend some time
looking round the place, you can then talk to the estate agents while
you are there. IIRC there are usually free papers in Spain that detail
property for sale aimed at Brits.
Theres a shortlist of places I would consider moving to in Spain,
places I now know quite well, I personally wouldnt even consider
moving to a place I didnt know on the basis of a website, which is the
impression you give?

www.ase.net lists 15 hotels in Mahon alone, so you might find something
at that site. I did not check for B&Bs.
