relected because of VICTORY. If Atlanta had held out for a couple of
months longer McClennan would have been a likely winner. I know more about
American history than you do and I know it without frantically searching

above only goes to prove that you fail to understand what it is that
produces winners. Bush is not a winner, he is a loser which is why the
Republicans face the biggest debacle in their political history in November

reelection as President in 1864.

We were comparing Lincoln's party losing Congressional control in the
mid-term election of 1862 compared to Bush in 2006.

1862 was before Lincoln could claim a single Union "victory", dummkopf
and as they are now the DemocRATS were even back then the treasonous
surrender monkeys and have been ever since regardless of the

OTOH, there would be NO suicide bombers killing US soldiers if the US

Of course we all know that left wing whacko double-speak would attempt
to argue that MOST and ALL could really mean the same.

You are the one stating the fanatical Saudi suicide bombers harassing
Iraq MUST go through Jordan to get to Syria, conveniently overlooking?
the possibility of aircraft arrival in Damascus.

A perusal of my National Geographic indicates it would also be
possible to get into Syria from parts of Saudi Arabia by a very short
trip by foot or camel through Jordan. I am sure you have read with
keen interest about the terrorist safe houses in Syria.

You reluctantly admit that the border between Syria and Iraq is
porous. I have never been to that part of the world, You seem to think
you know it all sitting there in Paris.

Are they more diligent and restrictive at the border between Jordan
and Syria and are they more diligent and restrictive at the border
between Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Is that now your contention?
