Default Lyon hotel

Has anyone stayed at the Grand Hotel, 11 Rue Grolee in Lyon, or at the
Warwick Reine Astrid Hotel? Both have good rates available through Orbitz,
but I can't find a mention of either in my Michelin Red Guide.

Thanks

I haven't stayed in either, but I have stayed in a Boscolo hotel in Nice,
the same chain as the Warwick Reine Astrid. They are an italian brand of
upscale hotels, though the quality of the properties can vary. However,
it's location is MUCH better than the Grand Hotel, which is rather far from
the centre of things. I stayed in the Citadines Presqu'ile, just off the
Rue Mercier which is an excellent location. This is an apartment hotel, so
you get a larger room with a kitchen, but the singles (studios) have a fold
out couch. Still the price was not unreasonable and the extra space was
nice.

Neither of these hotels is mentioned at www.tripadvisor.com, so you might
want to check out their list of hotels, ranked by reviews in guide books, on
the web and by site users.
