Low Cost Airline, Prague to Rome or Florence
Has anyone flown either SmartWings or Meridiana Airlines?
The cost for a one-way direct flight from Prague to Rome is $43 to $57
or Prague to Florence is $90. The major carriers are about $500. What
a difference!!!
Why is there such a big difference in price? We're tempted to book a
low cost carrier but if it ruins our vacation, yikes.

Meridiana was once a "normal" airline, owned by the Aga Khan, and
running flight to Olbia (Costa Smeralda). Had normal flight standards.
No idea what it is now if it has gone low cost.

Meridiana was once a "normal" airline, owned by the Aga Khan, and

Make sure you read the luggage limit information carefully. Many low
cost airlines have very strict limits on luggage, both carryon and
checked.

I flew once with them from Rome to Prague and back
and it's cheap and very good
