From Lisbon to Fatima
I will be in Lisbon this summer and would like to
take a day trip to the shrine at Fatima.
Can anyone suggest me a bus operator from Lisbon?
Particularly, I'd like to know where can I get it.
Somebody tell me Estaçao do Oriente, somewhere I
found "Terminal Rodoviario Sete Rios" and
somewhere else I found Saldanha or Arco do Cego!!
Can you help me?

You can book tickets online at http://www.rede-expressos.pt/
You can even choose which seat you want!
Buses to Fatima from Lisbon run hourly from 7.00am to 8.00pm. The journey
takes about 90 minutes and a return ticket costs about 16 euros.
The (new) main bus terminal in Lisbon is at Arco do Cego (metro station
Saldanha) and handles most international and domestic departures. Oriente
and Sete Rios are smaller / older bus stations.
The shrine / complex at Fatima covers a huge area. If visiting in summer,
take suitable headgear, or preferably a sun umbrella. Enjoy!

why is carrying something preferable to wearing
something. The latter seems easier to me
