Does anyone know whether the tower is open to the public in November
(26,27,28 Nov) and if so, how much it costs to go up it.
Thanks

You can reserve your tickets thru their official website @
www.opapisa.it/boxoffice/ It's =8017
but as you'll see on the website
you can only reserve ~6+ weeks in advance at the max. At this moment the
last date is Nov 7 and the earliest is Oct 10.

A couple of weeks ago (Mid-Sept), tickets for the tower were 15 Euros each. At that
time, you could buy them about a couple of hours in advance. Groups for
the tower were limited to about 40 people. Queues to buy the tickets were
about 25 minutes.
Tickets for almost all the other nearby attractions were 10.50 Euros, not including
the walls, another couple of Euros (seemed a bit silly to bother to
charge extra for them, but there you go. I had a lot of "why don't they
simply...." type questions to myself about Italy/Florence at the
end of two weeks! They do a lot of things well, of course...)
:-)
Cheers,

We arrived in Pisa on Sept 20 at around 9 am and I was able to buy 2
tickets for the 9:40 group. There was no line to buy the tickets at
the museum . They allow groups of 40 people, 40 minutes apart. The
price is 15 euro pp. When we got down around 10:25 am, the earliest
available group was after 2 pm. Thus get there early.
Before leaving the US, I tried to buy the tickets via the internet
site, but they never replied to my email.

Do you know if our luggage will be under lock and key when we have to check it at the Tower. The web site states: "Tourists will have to go to the proper left-luggage office to leave voluntarily bags/luggage before starting the visit." If not locked, will it be safe?
