Default Last minute/cheap deals to Europe?

Are there any web sites that specialize in last minute and bargain packages to
Europe? If so, I'd appreciate receiving the names and URLs. Thanks.

Not so much last-minute, but we got an excellent package (hotel & flight to
Paris from San Francisco) on gotoday.com.

Hi,

I've gotten good deals off of travelocity.com

I would suggest you visit Tyzo.com: the Top 10 travel deals of the
week and the bi-monthly newsletter are good sources of information for
travel specials and deals to many destinations including Europe.

Hope this helps,

If you mean airfares, try http://www.travelocity.com, then pick the
option "My dates are flexible".

Icelandair has a $214 + tax fare from Boston to London or Paris.

Every time I've tried that, I end up playing an endless game of
hide-and-seek with the fares. They show me a whole block of dates with a
great fare, but when I click on a date, it turns out not to be really
available.

I agree it can be tedious, but I've also gotten some pretty good fares
that way. On the other hand, I've also failed to get a decent fare. It
seems to be a timing thing: the really cheap fares go quickly but
Travelocity doesn't seem to know it until it tries to get one.

An all-time favorite is the all-too-common situation where all the available
return flights are before all the available outbound flights.

Just to set things straight: I am not interested in traveling, all I want is to see how far the airlines
will go (I might even make a trip, provided they pay ME).
