My wife and I will spend two or three nights on the Isle of Wight in June.
I've just begun to investigate the trip. Please recommend B&Bs and
attractions. I prefer accommodation in rural or village B&Bs rather than
towns. Many thanks.

Why was it a narrow escape? The festival is held on the outskiirts of
Newport. Newport town centre - eg Macdonalds and Morrisons will be
extremely busy in the mornings, The Fairllee road going towards the site has
traffic restrictions., The rest of the Island is mostly unanaffected.
In fact you'd probably find that the the island seems quieter than usual
because "everyone" is at the Festival!! :-)
