Hummm... did it make your press that the chief defence correspondent for
the BBC had to write the head of BBC to complain strongly that his
personal reports from Iraq were being terribly slanted. That they were
not conveying an accurate picture of his original reports.

Amazingly in a public response the head of the BBC basically said he was
catering to his clientele.

A friend sent me a cartoon the other day. A soldier writing home says "Dear Mom. After my
three Brits and my two Americans, today I finally managed to kill my first Iraqi".

The London Independent has published an article identifying the bomb as made
by Grummond, an American Defense contractor. A British reporter found a
fragment with serial numbers. US Aircraft droped a bomb of that description
that day. The bomb crater is consistent with the signature of that type of
bomb.
