My wife and I (an elderly pair) are going to tour Italy with a car and we
are looking for information on small family run hotels similar to the Logis
hotels in France.
I know there is a Logis d'Italia but their website is not as easy to
understand as the L de Fr mainly because I cannot understand Italian.
We hope to spend about 3 weeks in Italy and want to travel all round the
country North and South.
Any information or helpful advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for that,
my computer was set to block cookies and Active X controls, so I only saw
part of the page. I modified it to accept cookies and AX,,, lo and behold,
up came the lingua button and off I went.
Many thanks

If coming in Verona, take a look at our web-site.
Verona is a good base for trips to Vicenza, Padua, Mantua, Modena, Venice,
Milan, Trento, Brescia. All by car or by train (for Venice i absolutely
suggest by train).
Welcome in Italy !

You will find a huge number of small hotels listed and rated to the
same standard in the Michelin guide. Coupled with the Michelin maps,
they are easy to find( or get close enough to to ask directions)
