Default Hotel recommendations see side NE england?

Hi all

I'm trying to find a hotel with double room that will take a dog. We are
going to Alnwick gardens and fancy somewhere on the NE coast as a base for 3
days.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Stephen

Bamburgh is interesting for a few days, huge castle, nice beach walks,
handy for Lindisfarne and Seahouses. There's a couple of pubs in the
village that have rooms. I think we stayed at the Sunningdale, IIRC,
very friendly manager. Google popped up this website:
http://www.bamburgh.org.uk/
