Have you stayed at the Hotel Montana in London within the last year?
If so, I'd like your impressions.
Thanks,
Harry

> Have you stayed at the Hotel Montana in London within the last year?
It comes recommended by a regular traveling friend I trust who stayed there
last year, and we intend to make that our home base next month as it's very
close to a museum we'll be frequenting - we've booked the first night upon
arrival, and will extend our stay if all seems well.
Major stumbling block I've found is there's no way to reach them online -
all their website has at http://www.montana-hotel.co.uk/ is a phone and fax
number. I had a special circumstance which caused me to write a letter to
them directly rather than trust any of the booking sites online which list
them. I'm awaiting a reply.
Let's see what other notes I've scraped up for it... 3 minutes to Gloucester
Road Stn(three lines stop there). 5 minutes to V&A museum and South Ken Stn.
Room safe, hair dryer, central heat. Rooms nicely furnished and pleasant, if
not large. Indian restaurant on premises. Kettles available. Waitrose
supermarket on the corner, Sainsbury's a few blocks down Cromwell Rd.
I hope that helps you.
