This is a rather common claim that I've heard from just about every country,
that they somehow integrate their past into the present better than anyone
else. Are there countries with the courage to admit that the past and
present are incongruous?

It's a possibility.

Yes, there are foods like celeries or cucumbers which consume more calories
through the process of digestion than they give.

It's spelled whining.

1. Are you referring to Asian-Indians or Native Americans?
2. If you are referring to Native Americans, which tribes are you claiming
have an inferiority complex set off by mention of "glass pearls"? I have
spent time around various Native Americans, but have never heard such an
expression.

If it is the most peaceful religion of all, how come Buddhist countries have
long histories of warfare and atrocities? In so-called peaceful Tibet,
women were not allowed to become priests, own property, and were the
property of multiple husbands due to polyandry. Buddhist countries during
the medieval ages were home to warrior-monks, with no counterparts in the
West.

Not every person has English as mother language. Tolerant and intelligent
people understand their meaning anyway. All other lives in the midwest of
the US.

Oh really? Hahaha, never would have known that.

Alain was just giving his advice based on a very poor understanding of my
original question, so I responded accordingly.
>All other lives in the midwest of the US.
Most of the people I have met here, worked with, are non-Americans, so would
you care to elaborate on what the Midwest supposedly is?

They aren't incongruous when they are integrated.

Would you care to define how something would NOT be "integrated"? Do they
explode on contact with modernity?

There are some foods with zero calories, but they aren't very tasty as a
general rule. Sugar-free soda is sometimes one example. Celery is
pretty low in calories.
