Trondheim

You came up with a few things you don't like. I suggested hiking and
beaches, no answer though.

Really, there is a university where a department is filled with natives?
That would be a sight I have never seen before.

If it's any coincidence, there was a Norwegian Buddhist from Trondheim back
in 1996 who didn't like the things I said about Buddhism, made death
threats, and showed up in Washington DC (where I lived at the time), but he
failed to physically track me down.

The suggestions were taken.

I was just seeing if Europe offered it too, but by the angry tone of your
response, I guess there is an inferiority complex at play. ;-)

Good, how would I meet them?

Doesn't surprise me.

Are you kidding me? I have been to non-famous universities and community
colleges, which were packed full of foreign students.

Which towns would those be, of the many I have lived in?

I have, but I guess you haven't picked up on it.

Ok Mr. Pighead. :o)

There are lots of them here in Europe.

Our experiences differ, then.

Most non-famous universities are filled mostly with local students.
Nobody travels from India or New Zealand to attend school at the
University of Smallville. The fact that you have not seen such
departments doesn't mean they don't exist; indeed, since they are not
well known, it is logical that you would not have seen them, unless they
were in your own town.

    > Have you described any options at all?

Not really. You haven't said much at all about what you want.

    > No, just that I should not come to Europe.

That's my current suggestion, yes.

Cosmopolitan enough to know that anyone who calls Roma 'Gypsies' certainly
has a few 'issues' with matters of race. Unless you meant 'gypsies', as in
'travellers' but then that not a race thing anyway (and not exactly a PC
term) - you see the difference?

Yes.

If you don't count calories, why do you ask if foods are high in
calories?

I'll leave that as an exercise for the reader. This is not a
competition.

    > What makes you think they only occurred over the internet?

Because I asked, "Do you believe everything you read on the Internet?"
and you replied "If I have heard many accounts from many different
people over a ten-year period, then yes."

He is right and wrong. It's possible on this planet.

There are more internet cafés in Bolivia than in Norway due to wellfare of
the citicens. There are more in France than Norway due to cultural
differencies.

No, it doesn't. I said "affordability isn't the ONLY factor to
consider," which thus does not exclude his statement. His statement is
true, except insofar as he implies that the prevalence of Internet cafes
is _exclusively_ dependent on poverty or wealth. I pointed out that
other factors influence this prevalence as well.

Who, you or me?

So you're a fat asshole, is that it?

I know that foods like pasta or cheese are fattening, without counting the
exact calories in them.

Again, what makes you think they only occurred over the internet?

But you're the one who described the Mexican. I cannot know what you

As for my claim, it is widely true. Europeans tend to avoid questions
about personal life with casual acquaintances, although this varies
considerably from one country to another.

So in other words, you contradicted him.

Often true, as the dress is typically much more distinctive than the
skin color. Gypsies are easy to spot in this way.

Plenty of things.

Then look again.

People with low self-esteem surround themselves with other losers, so have a
different conception of "everyone".

It's ok, I won't explain pearls to swine.

So you have previously indicated.

I've never seen a platypus, either.

Do you often engender such animosity in others? What did you say about
Buddhism?
