This website is intended to assist travelers who are planning
to hike Rodnei Mountains, within Romanian Carpathians(transport,
maps, accommodation, guidance services etc.). If you like hiking and
want to discover alpine landscapes untouched by human hands,
icescoured valleys, glacial lakes, waterfalls that appear at every
step along rapid streams, spectacular caves, challenging
pyramid-shaped peaks above 2200 m, this solitary massif that time
forgot is the place you are looking for. You can also observe, in
their natural habitat, some protected species of flora and fauna,
within the "Rodnei Mountains National Park". Being the highest massif
in the Northern Romanian Carpathians, Rodnei`s main ridge (50
kilometers long) offers you a splendid panorama of all the
surrounding mountains.
I also must add that Rodnei Mountains represents a cheap
location, too.
