Going to Zurich from Dublin
Hey everyone,
I'll be going to Zurich from Dublin, via Gatwick this summer (July 13th,
returning 27th). I'm flying Ryanair from Dublin to Gatwick and easyjet
to Zurich. My question is, should I book now, or will flights get any
cheaper as it gets closer to the travel date. I know ryanair are
constantly doing special offers on their website(the current one only
applies up to June 14th), but are they likely to have any such offers in
July?
P.S. The exact travel dates are not very important, anything within
maybe 5 days of the above dates.

Easyjet have a pretty consisent policy of "the earlier you book, the less
you pay". You might get a special with Ryanair, or you might get caught out
and end up paying more. I would book now and be done with it. Have you
checked the prices on Swiss/Aer Lingus for the direct service? It's
sometimes less than you might think.
To get the cheapest fare for your trip, check www.aerfares.net - feed in
your date ranges, and it will find you all possible routings and prices for
this journey. It doesn't cover Ryanair, but you can use it to check fares
from London airports to ZRH. It's free and works really well. Cheapest
fare from London to ZRH is around £60 for your dates (given that you can't
take a very early flight as you're connecting from DUB).
Flights from DUB to LGW on FR are around ?75 return including taxes and fees
for July at the moment.
