Can anybody tell me the best way to get to the Stade De France, home
of the French Football (Soccer) team, via public transport?.

According to the RATP site (http://www.ratp.fr) :
Metro line 13 to St-Denis, then you have to walk 9 minutes.
Beware that there are two endings on this part of the 13 line.
Other solution : RER B (northwards, to Charles-de-Gaulle or Mitry-Claie)
and you stop at "La Plaine-Stade de France". It's in 2nd zone so a metro
ticket is enough. I don't know how long you have to walk from there.
There are metro and RER plans in every metro station, and also on RATP's
site (http://www.ratp.fr)
RER (urban train) may be faster... It all depends where you are.
