Is anyone aware of any planned strike action affecting French Railways
between Monday 20th and Friday 24th June please?

I hope to be making some journeys from Nimes to Grenoble and Lyon and
it would be a refreshing change not to have to negotiate my way around
the cancellations and alterations :-)

Strikes often are not announced that far in advance.

There is an SMS information service.
To get informed in real time on train traffic conditions, send an
"INFO XXXX" SMS message to phone number 63635, where XXXX is the number
of your train (0,35€/SMS).

Thanks again Juan, I'll try that while I'm there for the trains I'll
be travelling on (leaving here early Monday).

In the meantime, I have found out that there is strike action
affecting bus / tram / metro in Lyon on Tuesday (from:
http://www.tcl.fr/ ), and it's Tuesday I'll be trying to get from
Part-Dieu to Vieux Lyon and Fourviere :-)
