Hi,
We have reserved a cabin in Kultakero (Lapland-110 km from Rovaniemi) at
the end of July. We'll arrive at Helsinki airport.
Since Kultakero is about 1000 km from Helsinki, I would like to know our
transportation alternatives:

a. Car: As we plan to rent a car, and do some sight seeing anyway, what is
the recommended scenic and fast route, where should we stop for the night
(BTW, no kids-so 5-7 [max] hours drive aceptable). Any recommended
zimmers/ B&B / hotels on route?

b. Train (is there a train station within Helsinki airport)

c. (Internal) flight from Helsinki - probably to Rovaniemi (the nearest
airport)

Regarding the train and flight options:
a. Can somebody refer me to respective sites (English) to see schedules,
rates, travel length etc.
b. How can I order tickets in advance?

No. The airport is in Vantaa and the best way to get to Helsinki
is the Finnair shuttle, which terminates next to the main rail
station.

If you are already planning to rent a car, whiy are you asking
about flights? Again?

Trains: http://www.vr.fi. But I already told you that in another
thread.

Planes: Others have given you the options in another thread you
started.
